A non-profit organization aiming to spread hope and bless those within the RGV. RGV Gives Back is committed to advancing the well-being of all RGV residents through meal donations, student scholarships, and volunteer opportunities.

RGV Gives Back offers the community a chance to come together and give back to RGV residents amid the chaos and adversity brought to us by the pandemic.

Established in 2020

RGV Gives Back was founded in August of 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We became an official non-profit organization on August 26th of 2020!

Our Goal

RGV Gives Back aims to give back to our community through meal donations, student scholarships, and volunteer opportunities. We seek to bring hope to and bless our fellow RGV residents.

Our Founders

Hannah Orendain
Founder

Hannah Orendain is a graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law (J.D. '24) and Baylor University (B.A. '20). She is the Founder and President of RGV Gives Back and a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley. She founded RGV Gives Back in attempt to spread hope amid the chaos of COVID-19.

Lillian Marquez
Co-Founder

Lillian Marquez is a graduate of University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, a lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley, and Hannah's mom. She, alongside her daughter, founded this non-profit in attempt to spread positivity throughout the RGV.
